College student daughter and son broke down on I81 on the way home from school. Car made a lot of noise when starting. Called R&M for tow. R&M's driver came by and was able to restart the car for them. It was not a battery problem, it appears to be a locked up A/C compressor. Anyway, R&M got them on their way. I called R&M to see how much I owed them. He said that there was no charge because he didn't do anything but turn off the a/c and start the car. I insisted. He refused to accept payment.
